Valerie Metoyer

Valerie Metoyer, 68, passed away April 4, 2025. She was born on January 10. 1957 to parents, Esteban and Juanita (Baca) Rodriguez. Both precede her in death along with her son, Telsie Metoyer; brothers, Tim Rodriguez and Wayne Rodriguez; and sister, Debbie Rodriguez.

Valerie enjoyed softball, photography, camping, swimming and Do It Yourself projects. She was proud of her Softball Championship playing for Flores Grocery. Most of all Valerie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Valerie is survived by her husband, Alfred Metoyer; her daughter, Cassandra Metoyer; her sons, Johnny Metoyer and Jacques Metoyer; 2 grandchildren, Joey Metoyer and Carter Metoyer; 1 great grandchild, Rue; her siblings, Becky Estrada, Veronica Ucar, Toby Rodriguez, Celeste Clark, Carolyn Chansongsang, Ted Rodriguez, Tyrone Rodriguez, Darryl Rodriguez, Gilbert Rodriguez and Mara Rodriguez.

Rosary, 6 pm, Mon., April 14, 2025 and Mass of Christian Burial, 2 pm, Tues., April 15, 2025 both at Shrine of St. Therese. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.

Potluck reception to follow in St. Joseph room at St. Therese Catholic Church.
