Vidal "Billy" Martin Martinez

Vidal Martin Martinez, affectionately known as “Billy” 59, passed away November 24, 2025. A lifetime Puebloan, he was born April 12, 1966 to parents, Frances Pino and Jake Martinez.

Vidal was a proud graduate of East High School. He was a car enthusiast and a great cook; you never left his home without eating. He was an outdoorsman; he loved trees and nature. He enjoyed fishing in all the lakes. Billy loved people, he had such a great personality, sharing stories, visiting everyone, sharing his love and respect for each of them.

Vidal is survived by his wife, Mercedes “Mercy” Trujillo; mother, Frances Trujillo; dad, Jake Martinez; children, Juan (Veronica) Trujillo and Ruben Trujillo; 8 grandchildren; brother, Dennis Fresquez; and sister, Candace Fresquez.

At his request cremation, no formal services.
