William V. Cordova, 84, passed away Sept. 18, 2020. He was born Aug. 23, 1936 in San Cristobal, NM to Aniseto and Patrocinia (Martinez) Cordova who precede him in death; son, William “Billy” Cordova; brother, Toby Cordova; in-laws, Baldamar (Ida) Cordova, Fred Vigil, Flavio Duran, Roddy Palma, and Angie Cordova.
Bill graduated from Taos High School. He served in the United States Army with the rank of Staff Sgt. He retired as a Steel Worker from CF& I. He was a devout Catholic, and active parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a huge fan of CSU-P Athletics, but especially Pack Football. He never missed a home game and when they played away, he would listen in on the radio. Bill most cherished his time spent with his family. He adored his grandkids. Nothing made them more proud than to watch them during all of their sports and activities. They loved hearing all the stories that their “Pampo” had to tell.
