William Michael Payne

William Michael Payne passed away Monday, March 10, 2025. He was born on February 11, 1973, in Beckley, WV. He was the wonderful and adoring husband of Lisa Garcia-Payne, son of Delilah Kay Payne and the late Edward Martin Payne, of Columbia, SC and son-in-law of Mary Anne and Alfonso D. Garcia of Pueblo CO.

Michael attended Aims Community College in Greeley, CO and graduated with an Associate of Science degree in Computer Sciences. He co-owned Mi Casa Transitional Services Inc with his wife, Lisa. Mike had many interests and was always open to learning something new. If he didn’t know how to do something he would invest a lot of time in figuring it out. He loved computers, guitars, music, skateboarding, hot sauce, and spending every day with his wife. He was an exceptionally loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Lisa M. Garcia-Payne, Sons, Evan, Adam, Benjamin, William and Max Payne, his mother, Delilah Kay Payne, Sister Rebecca Payne Brabham (Vance) Columbia, SC, in-laws, Alfonso D. and Mary Anne Garcia, Sisters-In-Law Debra J Barrett (John), Pueblo, and Lorri A. Garcia -Cottrell, (Silver Spring, MD), Brother-in-Law, Kenneth A. Garcia. (Salt Lake City, UT), Nephews, Brooks Reed Brabham and Vance Payne Brabham, Luke Barrett, Max Cottrell, and Shem Barrett. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Colorado, West Virginia, South Carolina, Michigan, California and New Mexico, as well as around the world.
