Xavier Alfred Baca, 25, passed away Feb. 20, 2026. A lifetime Puebloan he was born October 3, 2000 to Alfred P. Baca and Yvonne J. Montijo.
He is preceded in death by his; uncle, Eloy Armando Medina; and his grandparents, Ray and Marian Sisneros.
Xavier Baca will be remembered as a devoted father, loyal family man, and someone who lived with passion and heart. He took immense pride in being a great dad, always putting ”DD” first. He also loved spending time with his best friend/brother, Haven.
Xavier found peace out on the water where fishing wasn’t just a hobby but a place where we could reflect and recharge after a hard, hot day of laying asphalt. He also had a deep love for boxing, appreciating the discipline, toughness, and heart the sport represents qualities he carried in his own life. Xavier also loved to have BBQ’s, especially pig roasts. He cherished every opportunity to gather with family and friends.
He will be deeply missed, but his spirit, his lessons, and his love will live on through his family and all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his mother, Yvonne Montijo; his father, Alfred Baca (Shawna McClain); son; Xavier Alfred Baca Jr.; mother of his child, Diamond Barlow, siblings, Haven Alfred Baca, Savanna Haylee Baca, and Alexis Domingues; grandparents, Mary Joyce Montijo, and Leroy and Irene Baca; God parents, Leroy and Lynette Baca; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
Funeral Service 10a.m. Thursday March 5, 2026 at Praise Assembly. Internment, Roselawn Cemetery.
