Ysabel "Izzy" Nuñez, 86, passed away November 26, 2018 with his family at his bedside. A lifetime Puebloan he was born November 5, 1932 to the union of Marion and Epifania (Hernandez) Nuñez, who both preceded him in death along with siblings, Eva Kenworthy and Virginia (Robert) Thomas; son-in-law, Terry Farris; brother-in-law, Ralph "Blackie" Gonzales. Izzy served in the U.S Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He retired from the U.S Postal Service with 35 years of service. Izzy enjoyed collecting stamps, coins, was a sports car enthusiast and a big Bronco fan, but most of all he loved his family and his strong faith. Ysabel "Izzy" is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Delilah Lee Nuñez; children, Lorraine Nuñez Martinez, Phyllis Roberta Hart, Jeanne Marion Young, Bonny Juanita Farris and Bryan Ysabel Nuñez; grandchildren, Linda, Michael (Julia) Hart, Christoper and Cameo Farris; great grandchildren, Leroy, Jordan and Michael Hart; siblings, Angie Gonzales, Genevieve (Ron) Nealley, Ramona Stanard, Vivian Texeria and Rudy (Yolanda) Nuñez; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
