Zachary "Zac" A. Gonzales

ZACHARY ALLEN GONZALES lovingly known as “Zac,” 32, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025.

Zac was the kindest of souls. He was the best son, brother, nino, uncle, grandson, nephew, and friend. He was also a wonderful artist. Above all, he was the best father. His world and heart belonged to the loves of his life - his girls, Cruz Evelyn Rose and Zaira Jay. Zac loved everyone in his family. And, he loved to help in any way that he could. Ever the respectful child and adult, he consistently greeted aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends with a hug or a handshake that let them know he loved and respected them. Anyone who met Zac was an immediate friend.
He was preceded in death by grandmother, Antonia “Toni” Muñiz; grandfathers John Sandoval, John Gonzales, and Ignacio “Nash” Muñiz; cousins Crystal Clamenza and Luke Ortega; and beloved friend, whom he called his sister, Janaé (Sandoval) Ortiz.
Zac is survived by his parents Russell and Cathy Gonzales; daughters, Cruz and Zaira Gonzales; friend and mother of his children, Ashley DeHerrera; sister and brother-in-law, Alicia and Ronnie Roybal; brother and sister-in-law, Abram and Terese Herrera; nieces, Isla and Maya Roybal; nephew, Noah Roybal; nephew and niece - his godchildren - Joziah and Zailey Herrera; grandmother, Mary Ellen Sandoval; uncle and aunt/godparents Bob Clamenza and Trina Clamenza (Mike Allis) and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Zac will always be loved and missed by so many.
